Charmeleon (Japanese: リザード Lizardo) is a Burn-blazon Pokémon introduced in Generation I.
Information technology evolves from Charmander starting at level sixteen and evolves into Charizard starting at level 36.
Biology
Charmeleon is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon. It has dark cherry scales and a cream underside from the chest down. It has blueish eyes and a long snout with a slightly hooked tip. On the dorsum of its head is a single horn-similar protrusion. Information technology has relatively long arms with three sharp claws. Its brusque legs have plantigrade anxiety with 3 claws and cream-colored soles. The tip of its long, powerful tail has a flame burning on information technology. The temperature rises to unbearable levels if Charmeleon swings its tail.
Charmeleon has a vicious nature and will constantly seek out opponents. Strong opponents excite this Pokémon, causing it to spout bluish-white flames that torch its surroundings. Nevertheless, it will relax once it has won a battle. It is rare in the wild, just it can be institute in mountainous areas.

Ash'south Charmeleon
Ash'south Charmander evolved into Charmeleon in March of the Exeggutor Squad, which also marked the species' debut. He quickly grew unruly and disobedient. He evolved into Charizard before long after in Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon.
Charmeleon besides appeared in I Choose You!, which is set in a different continuity from the principal serial. In this continuity, it previously belonged to Cross and evolved from Charmander afterwards defeating a Jigglypuff in battle. Information technology later evolved into Charizard after battling Cantankerous'south Lycanroc. Different its principal serial analogue, this Charmeleon never had obedience problems.
Zippo
Ritchie'south Charmander, nicknamed Zippo, evolved into a Charmeleon sometime prior to the events of A Parent Trapped!.
Alain'south Charmeleon
A Charmeleon appeared in a flashback in Mega Evolution Special II equally the pre-evolved form of Alain'south Charizard.
Trevor's Charmeleon
Trevor's Charmeleon appeared in A Legendary Photo Op!, having evolved from a Charmander. It would evolve into Charizard by A League of His Own!.

In Sword and Shield: The Darkest Solar day!, Leon's Charizard was revealed to have been a Charmeleon in a flashback.

Cherry's Charmeleon
Cerise's Charmander evolved into a Charmeleon some time after Cerise vanquish Misty merely before he faced Lt. Surge between File 1: Blood-red and File two: Cubone. Information technology later evolved into a Charizard after Red defeated Koga between File 2: Cubone and File three: Giovanni.

Charmeleon debuted in Onix is On!, where it was seen contesting in the Pewter Gym as one of Blueish's Pokémon. He evolved from Charmander sometime between The Cloak-and-dagger of Kangaskhan and this circular. When Cherry and Blue collided in Celadon City, Red mistakenly picked up the Poké Brawl of Blueish's Charmeleon, but he managed to give it back to Blue later. He has since evolved into Charizard with Blueish's intense training and became even more powerful, assisting in the defeat of both the Squad Rocket triads Koga and Sabrina.
A Charmeleon defenseless by Crystal and lent to Emerald for his Boxing Pike claiming appeared in Moving Past Milotic.
Multiple Charmeleon were used by Team Galactic Grunts in Go out Empoleon and Cooling Off Heatran.
X's Charmander, Salamè, evolved into a Charmeleon alongside Marisso, who evolved into a Quilladin, in PS577.
